15 little known heritage objectives are now on public display at the Open Air Museum in Dumbrava Sibiu. Among them is a pair of sandals hundred years old, traditional households, a chest of drawers Saxon, and a Bible printed a century ago. All are present at the exhibition ,, my local treasure „, whose opening will take place after the announce in a previous article, Tuesday, 30.06.2015, 11:30, School of Ticera, functional monument Open Air Museum in Dumbrava Sibiu.
As we learn in charge of this action, the CNM ASTRA- Raluca Andrei (museum educator), heritage objects are present here in suggestive photos, all taken by 15 students qualified at the county stage of the project named exhibition (,, Treasure my local „). From February to May, they sought and identified heritage objects in photos now highlighted. Then, students aged under 14 years have collected information about them elderly and in books.
The objectives of heritage exposed to school in Ticera photos were found in the localities Altana, Turnu Red River Mouth, and Sadu Sadu River. Each illustrated is accompanied by a statement written by the students. Sheet that defines and classifies the objective of heritage, just like the factsheets in front of some monuments exhibited in a museum.
The project was initiated by the Secondary School „Matei Basarab” in Turnu Rosu and ASTRA Museum serves as a partner. At the opening, will participate in the project pupils, teachers, curators and general manager of CNM ASTRA – Ciprian Anghel Stefan.
The exhibition ,, my local treasure „will remain in open-air museum of Dumbrava Sibiu (School of Ticera) until 10 July.
